TransCanada’s May 12 Investor Meeting to be Webcast

CALGARY, Alberta – May 10, 2005 – (TSX: TRP) (NYSE: TRP) – TransCanada Corporation will hold an investor meeting Thursday, May 12 in Toronto from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (eastern). At this half-day event, members of TransCanada’s senior management team will provide investors with a comprehensive overview of the company’s core business units.
